MID-AM RACING SERIES

The Hoosier D800 is approved for asphalt events.

The Hoosier F70, F75, and D800 is approved for dirt events.

2024 tire rules

  • Mid-Am sells tires via TBD

  • It is not mandatory to purchase your tires through Mid-Am

Tire Provider

  • All Mid-Am Series tires must be marked by Mid-Am to be eligible.

  • The UPC of the tire is tied to the car number. No re-selling or swapping of tires between teams.

  • Any alterations to tires (marking tires ok) are not permitted.

  • Mid-Am Reserves the right to inspect, durometer or lab test any tire at any time.

  • Any Team found altering tires will be disqualified, losing all points/pay for that Event, and suspended for the next Event.  The team will also be responsible for any lab fees for (SPME) and (GC/MS) testing.

ALL TEAMS (GENERAL)

  • All Mid-Am Series tires must be marked by Mid-Am to be eligible.

  • For Mid-Am Events you are able to swap any previously approved/marked Mid-Am tire from the same calendar season.

FULL TIME COMPETITORS

  • All Mid-Am Series tires must be marked by Mid-Am to be eligible.

  • All Teams must have the correct amount of new/used Mid-Am marked tires.

  • Damaged tires should be reported to Mid-Am Tech immediately. Damaged tires will be reviewed for replacement on a case-by-case basis.

ALL TEAMS (RACE DAY)

  • **These apply only to non-4 tire events.

  • All used tires must be marked by Mid-Am prior to the first practice to be considered for competition.

  • Used tires must have a tread depth of 4/32 or less to be eligible for use.

  • For Mid-Am Events with qualifying, the tires you qualify will be the tires you utilize for the rest of the event.

  • For Mid-Am Events without qualifying, practice tires will be the tires you utilize for the rest of the event.

  • Any Competitor that cannot present eligible used tires may be treated as unqualified. Unqualified cars must start in the back of all Events and must complete every lap to advance.
